GroqFlow README

GroqFlow is Groq's own compile-and-run tool flow, and it is the most direct evidence of what Groq's hardware constraint does to the software. Stated system requirements are hardware gates, not conveniences: Ubuntu 22.04 or Rocky 8.4, 32 GB RAM or more to BUILD models, 8 LPUs (explicitly 'especially for larger models') to RUN models, and GroqWare Suite >= 0.9.2.1 comprising groq-devtools (build and compile) plus groq-runtime (run compiled models). Note the split: the compiler and the runtime are separate packages, which is the software shape of a fully static compilation model. Access to GroqWare installation is through support.groq.com behind an account, so the toolchain is gated. Repository layout names docs/ (installation guide, user guide, known issues, versioning) and proof_points/ ('Machine learning proof points using GroqFlow'). Candid maintenance disclosure: 'GroqFlow development is primarily conducted within Groq's internal repo and is periodically synced to GitHub', so the public commit log does NOT reflect development. Repo metadata via GitHub API 2026-10-04: created 2022-08-08, last push 2025-07-31 (over a year stale), 121 stars, 19 forks, 5 open issues, MIT.
