process_tracing_init(): raises RuntimeError('opentelemetry package is not installed') if the SDK is absent - the extra is a real install requirement, not bundled. OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_TRACES_PROTOCOL defaults to grpc, supports only grpc and http/protobuf. Root span is named f'{role} Req {rid[:8]}' with attributes rid and module=sglang::{module_name}.
