SkyPilot Catalog - Automated multi-cloud GPU price database, refreshed every 7 hours

Fetched 2026-10-04. Open-source Apache 2.0 catalog of GPU prices across 20+ cloud providers. Catalogs for AWS, GCP, and Lambda are automatically fetched from cloud provider APIs via GitHub Actions every 7 hours. Schema v8: vms.csv with InstanceType, AcceleratorName, AcceleratorCount, vCPUs, MemoryGiB, Price (on-demand/hr), SpotPrice (spot/hr), Region, AvailabilityZone, LocalDisk info, MaximumEfaInterfaces. Other clouds can implement catalog fetchers. The AWS catalog (v8/aws/vms.csv) is ~5.3MB and includes all EC2 instance types with GPU accelerators across all regions. GCP catalog includes A2 (A100), A3 (H100/H200), TPU v6e instances. This is the most comprehensive and frequently-updated GPU price dataset publicly available. The GPU Compass portal (gpus.skypilot.co) renders this data as a user-facing comparison tool. Key structural insight: SkyPilot records BOTH on-demand Price and SpotPrice for every GPU instance type, making it possible to compute the spot discount ratio systematically across all clouds and regions.
