NVIDIA DGX GB Rack Scale Systems User Guide - Hardware (rack configuration, power shelves, liquid cooling)
Fields
sources/pwr2-nvidia-dgx-gb200-hardwareNotes
Vendor system user guide, the single most decision-relevant power document for GB200-class deployment. States verbatim: 'The rack power consumption is approximately 120kW.' and 'The power shelf uses six air-cooled 5.5kW PSUs in eight power shelves that provide N+N redundancy and the required input power of 33kW per power shelf.' Also: 18x 1RU compute trays (2 Grace CPUs + 4 Blackwell GPUs each), 9x 1RU NVLink switch trays, 2x TOR switches, liquid cooling manifolds, power shelves fed from a remote power panel via power whips, AC converted to nominal 50-51V DC distributed via bus bar. Compute trays are liquid-cooled at CPU and GPU cold plates while 'The rest of the components like networking and storage devices are air cooled'. Includes leak detection. Leak detection is called out as its own section.
