notes
OBSERVATION DATE 2026-10-11. Source sup-used-newegg-gtx-1080-ti. The GTX 1080 Ti (11GB GDDR5X, GP102) was a legendary mining-era and gaming flagship. In secondary market pricing ($399.00), it has unfavorable value for homelab inference compared to the Tesla P40: both cost ~$400, but the 1080 Ti offers only 11GB VRAM versus the P40's 24GB VRAM. However, the 1080 Ti features active multi-fan cooling, display outputs, and standard PCIe 8-pin power connectors. Lacks tensor cores; DP4A INT8 supported in llama.cpp. The corpus contains no standalone accelerator record for gtx-1080-ti, so accelerator_ids is empty []. eBay queries returned HTTP 403 on 2026-10-11.
