Value

Unit
output (decode) tokens/s per 8-GPU node (aggregate)
Model
DeepSeek-V3 (671B MoE, FP8)
Methodology
Engine: SGLang v0.4+ with prefill-decode disaggregation and large-scale expert parallelism (DeepEP, DeepGEMM, EPLB), DP attention for MLA, and two-batch overlap. Hardware: 12 nodes x 8 H100 = 96 H100 GPUs on the Atlas Cloud, 80GB SXM variants, cross-node traffic over RDMA/InfiniBand. Prompt length 2000 tokens; output length NOT stated by the source. Concurrency NOT stated - the setup targets saturated decode nodes. Parallelism: DP attention plus large-scale EP rather than a single TP degree; the comparison baseline is vanilla TP32/TP16 style configurations. Figure is AGGREGATE output tokens/s per node (8 GPUs, about 2788 tok/s per GPU); the post also gives 52.3k INPUT tokens/s per node for the same workload, which is the prefill side. Multi-Token Prediction: two-batch overlap is used instead. Reproduction instructions at sgl-project/sglang issue 6017.

Reproducible
yes
notes
Third-party (SGLang) but notable as the H100 counterpart to the GB200 record - it is the source of the 'H100 per GPU' baseline that the GB200 post's 2.7x claim is computed against. Claimed to be the first open-source implementation to nearly match the throughput DeepSeek reported officially. Reported cost $0.20 per 1M output tokens. Cloud hardware (Atlas Cloud) means hardware SKUs are not individually verified.
