vLLM disaggregated PD serving: Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B NVFP4 on GB300 NVL72, 5000 total TPS per GPU

5000 total tokens/s per GPU (aggregate across the cluster)

Fields

id
benchmarks/vllm-qwen38-nvfp4-gb300-nvl72-tps-per-gpu
Metric
tps_aggregate
Value
5,000
Unit
total tokens/s per GPU (aggregate across the cluster)
Model
Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B-NVFP4
Methodology
Engine: vLLM vllm/vllm-openai:nightly-a9a17 (revision v0.26.1rc1.dev1177+ga9a17e709) with NVIDIA Dynamo 1.2.0.dev20260526, srt-slurm v1.0.98 and AIPerf v0.12.0. Hardware: GB300 NVL72 cluster on one NVLink72 domain. ISL = 8192, OSL = 1024. Concurrency swept 1 to 2560; 5000 total tok/s per GPU is the high-throughput endpoint of the resulting Pareto frontier, so the specific concurrency is not a fixed stated value - it is on a chart. Decode side one endpoint of either 1xTEP8 or 1xTP4DP4+EP (8 or 16 GPUs); prefill side 1-4 endpoints of TEP8, TP4DP2+EP, or {1,2,3,4}xTP2DP4+EP using 8 to 32 GPUs each. Parallelism is a mix of TP, DP and EP rather than a single TP degree. Figure is AGGREGATE total tokens/s per GPU. GSM8K accuracy verified at 95% for every configuration.
Measured by
vendor
Reproducible
yes
notes
Vendor-published (NVIDIA GB300 hardware, NVIDIA-authored post) but unusually reproducible: exact container image, vLLM revision, Dynamo, srt-slurm and AIPerf versions are all named, and every recipe plus the accuracy recipes are public in NVIDIA/srt-slurm-recipes under recipes/multi-node/Qwen3.8/GB300/8k1k/vllm/disagg. The 5000 is a rounded headline figure from the Pareto text, not a raw counter. Pairs with the interactivity endpoint in the sibling record for the same deployment. Accelerator id is nvidia-b300 (Blackwell Ultra dies inside GB300 NVL72); that accelerator record is status=contested, so treat the 288 GB VRAM figure behind this deployment as unsettled while the throughput number itself is what NVIDIA measured on its own rack.
