Symptom
Repo holds two very different 'used' prices for the same card: e.g. RTX 3090 ~$950 on eBay (ebay-used-rtx3090-oct2026) vs ~$2,399 on Newegg refurb (used-rtx-3090-market); RX 7900 XTX ~$875 peer vs $1,405 Newegg.
Root cause
Different channels price differently: marketplace peer/auction listings clear far below retailer refurbished listings which carry warranty/overhead. 'Used' is not one price - the channel defines the number.
Workaround
Record channel in price_basis; compare like-for-like (eBay-ask to eBay-ask, Newegg to Newegg). Use the lower channel for value math only if you accept marketplace risk.
